An NQF Level (4) or (5) (a Senior/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent). Three (3) years’ working experience in security. Security Certificate (A Minimum of 1 year of study) Grade B PSIRA certificate. The disclosure of a valid unexpired driver’s license will serve as an added advantage. Knowledge of access control procedures. Knowledge of measures for the control of the movement of equipment and stores. Knowledge of prescribed security procedures (e.g., MISS, MPSS, Protection of Information Act, and the authority of security officers under these documents). Good listening skills and interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.

Supervise the security functions performed by contracted security (PSSP), ensuring adherence to department security policies.
